Masks exist in many cultures and geographical regions. They are made of various materials: plaster, wood, cloth… They can have different functions and shapes, represent particular people or animals, even demons. They can express a person’s emotions and character or remain neutral. To make our masks we will glue, sew and tie feathers, paper, straws, sticks, glitter, sequins, leaves, crayons and paints: anything that will help us make a mask, which can be protective, shamanic or simply beautiful.
A workshop for people aged 16 and over.
