Thanks to the collaboration between the Malta Festival and Bękarty graphic design studio (created by Krzysztof Ignasiak and Marcin Matuszak), every year the festival’s visual identity takes on a new dimension. Translating the programme concept into visual language is a mission and a challenge that the designers respond to every year by listening to and interpreting the ideas of Malta’s programming section. The saturated visual identity of Juno celebrating the festival’s 30th anniversary or Nástio Mosquito’s “Army of the Individual” or the slogan “We the People” responding to the premise of the “Balkan Platform” idiom. These are just some of Malta’s recent though already iconic identities, identities that keep on changing with their specific printing techniques, paper and digital communication to support their message. All That Print is an exhibition where Bękarty showcase some of their festival creations that have already become classics in the designing community.
