Agata Skowron-Nalborczyk

Agata Skowron-Nalborczyk is an Iranologist and Arabist, a professor at the Department for European Islam Studies at the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the University of Warsaw. Her areas of interest include Muslim minorities in Europe, the situation of women in Islam, Muslim-Christian contacts and the image of Islam in Europe. She is the co-chair of the  Catholic side of the Joint Council of Catholics and Muslims, as well as a member of the European Council of Religious Leaders – Religions for Peace.
